Retained in 1945,  transferred to RCMP and renamed Fort Steele.

Not commissioned, returned by RCMP in 1946 and sold by WAC for $6,000 to L.A. Schackleton, Town of Mount Royal, Quebec.

In June 1947 Mr.Shackleton  took her to New York City and intended to bring the Fairmile to Toronto in May 1948. (as per Mr.Shackleton’s letter dated February-11,1948).

Owner (1953-54) : Robert Tilley Ltd., St. John’s, Newfoundland and renamed Supertrader (# 195981).

Owner (from 1956 and 1960) : Brookfield Ice Cream Ltd., St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Owner (1965) : Eric G. Earle, Carbonear, Newfoundland, for cargo.

Owner (1972-1980+) : Earle Freighting Services Ltd., St-John’s and Carbonear, Newfoundland.

March 23, 1998, register closed (Transport Canada).
