Hamiltair Ltd. acquired a total of 7 Fairmiles for $21,000 (Q122, 123, 125, 126, 127, 128 and 129). The owner , Tom Hamilton intended to used the Fairmiles fleet (after conversion and refurbishing) to handle guests at his resort “Malibu Club” in Princesss Louisa Inlet.
First registered: December 31, 1945 and renamed Malibu Tilikum (#176474).

Sank in 1946 due to open hatches while docked at Coal Harbor B.C. and later raised and pumped out.
